Open Source
AI Knowledge Pack is open source.

As with any open-source software, we recommend reviewing the output before relying on it for important business decisions.
First public project
AI Knowledge Pack
A free, local-first, open-source tool that turns AI chats, prompts, SOPs, workflows and automations into portable Markdown knowledge packs.
Open-source boundaries for v0.1.0.
The first release is intentionally local-first, simple to run and honest about what it does not do.
Local-first by default
The first project has no accounts, tracking, uploads, analytics, payments, database or backend document processing.
Knowledge extraction, not migration
The goal is to extract reusable Markdown knowledge, not recreate chat history inside another AI platform.
Small enough to inspect
The codebase is intentionally compact so contributors can understand the product surface before changing it.
Contributor-ready
The repository includes sample data, issue templates, release notes, legal docs and future issue drafts.
Open-source usage disclaimer
Open source does not mean production-ready for every use case.
AI Knowledge Pack is provided as open-source software under the MIT License. That does not mean it is certified, professionally audited, guaranteed secure, suitable for regulated environments, or covered by ongoing support obligations.
If you fork, modify, self-host, redistribute, integrate or deploy the project, you are responsible for reviewing the code, dependencies, configuration, legal obligations, security posture and user-facing claims for your own use case.
